Honoring Sasha
Guests pay tribute to Dr. Sasha Sidorenko—who was unable to attend the luncheon in his honor—by acknowledging the remarkable work he has done as the UN Focal Point on Ageing, his collaboration with the NGO Committee on Ageing and as a central figure in virtually every landmark aging agreement, including the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing and the UN Principles for Older Persons.
